Capital Bikeshare Station at Kansas Avenue and Longfellow Street NW

DDOT is requesting my input regarding a proposed Capital Bikeshare stations at the corner of Kansas Avenue and Longfellow Streets NW.

Based on the attached DDOT letter, the proposed site "would be located in-street and would repurpose three unzoned motor vehicle parking spaces on the east side of Kansas Avenue, adjacent to the painted bike lane". Their placement wouldn't result in construction or excavation and the installation will take a few hours.
