DC DMV Community Outreach

Dear Community Partner:

The District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles (DC DMV) has transitioned from “appointment only” back to walk-in service at all of our service centers. Essentially, we have returned to businesses as usual, while continuing to take precautions to protect the safety and health of our customers and employees. We know District residents are always interested in understanding how their local government is operating and DC DMV would be interested in partnering with you and your constituents to provide an update on DC DMV’s current operating status, new initiatives, and answer any questions related to driver, vehicle, and ticket services.

If you are planning an upcoming meeting/event, and you are interested in having Director Robinson participate as a guest speaker on behalf of DC DMV, please contact Natasha.james@dc.gov/202-729-7035. While we may not be able to accommodate all requests based on Director Robinson’s schedule, we look forward to working with you and providing your constituents with an update on DC DMV services. In addition, we are happy to provide a photo and bio of Director Robinson for promotional purposes once he has been scheduled for a meeting/event.

Finally, when scheduling an appearance by Director Robinson, and to help DC DMV best serve your constituents, please confirm the following:

  • What is the allocated time for Director Robinson to speak to your group (including Q&A’s)?

  • How many participants do you anticipate at your virtual meeting/event?

  • Are there other areas of interest or concerns your group would like addressed?

We look forward to working with you!

Regards,

Mrs. Natasha James
