DPW Update

The recent winter weather event has made it unsafe for DPW staff and vehicles to maneuver through certain alleyways. As a result, some residents may experience delays in trash, recycling, and food waste collections.

Our dedicated DPW staff are working diligently to address these delays while also preparing for another projected winter weather event this Friday night into Saturday. To expedite the resumption of regularly scheduled services, the following adjustments have been made:

          •        Recycling collection is suspended for the remainder of this week.

          •        Most residents who typically receive two trash collections will receive one collection this week.

We encourage residents to hold recycling until next week and to continue placing green trash bins at their designated point of collection on their slide day schedule (one day later than the normal pickup day).

DPW is committed to resuming normal trash and recycling collection operations by Monday, January 13. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time.
