This is a hypothermia alert issued in accordance with the District of Columbia’s Cold Plan for 7 PM Sunday, January 17th, 2021. The National Weather Service (NWS) reports that temperatures will be 34 degrees but will feel like 29 degrees due to wind chill and/or rain. These temperatures significantly increase your risk for hypothermia and frostbite.
