Hi neighbors,
I'm reaching out to share the date and ask for volunteers for Petworth PorchFest 2021, which will take place on Saturday, April 24th, from 2-6pm. Following in the footsteps of other successful PorchFests throughout the District, Petworth PorchFest is a neighborhood-wide live music event that will feature dozens of bands hosted on porches throughout Petworth. The event will celebrate the arts, local talent, our community, and the generosity of residents who provide their front porches as stages. You can enjoy this event by strolling through the neighborhood and stopping to listen to a variety of bands at your leisure.
Petworth PorchFest will follow District guidelines regarding COVID-19, including social distancing and mask wearing. We will work with bands and hosts to implement requirements.
This event is produced by an all-volunteer group of neighbors with support from Pipkin Creative. If you would like to be a volunteer, please fill out the volunteer form. If you would like to host bands at PorchFest, please fill out the host form. If you would like to perform at PorchFest, please fill out the band registration form. Please also pass on the attached flyer to others who might be interested.
