This is the information I received from Commander Griffin regarding the shooting in the 100 block of Peabody Street NW on Saturday night:
"There was a reported argument between two parties prior to the gunshots. At this time, we suspect the property at 123 Peabody may be linked. We are still awaiting DCRA’s investigation."
As you are aware, this has been a problematic home for quite some time. I continue to work with MPD and DCRA to shut this home/business down.
In the interim, if you see/hear anything please contact MPD.
The increased patrols in the area will continue.
