Hello prospective Weed Warriors,
This email is a reminder of the Weed Warrior training being held virtually, this evening (7/29/21) from 5:30-8:00pm on Zoom. In this virtual session, we will be discussing invasive species, plant identification, and safe removal techniques. It is recommended that you have some way to take notes during this meeting. On Saturday, July 31st from 10:00am - 1:00pm we will be meeting in Rock Creek Park for the mandatory field training, where we will work on identifying and removing a variety of invasive plants. Proper attire - close toed shoes, long sleeves, and pants - as well as a bottle of water, gloves (if you have them), and a way to take notes are recommended.
